Independent research shipped as systems

I'm June Dekker, an independent researcher and systems engineer. I build in the parts of technical ecosystems where progress depends on coherence, correctness, and efficient implementation.

My work is research-shaped, but not academic. My strength is entering a field through the hard part everyone else has to route around: the thing that is too slow, too brittle, too underspecified, or too poorly understood. I learn the theory and context quickly by making that piece work, then turn it into infrastructure and tooling which new work can build upon. That is how I go from first contact with a domain to frontier contribution on a timescale measured in months, not years.

For selected work, background, and contact details, see about.
